Boy with ping pong balls!Another GOLD medal for the Dominican Republic as local lad Lin Ju beat Argentinean number two seed Liu Song and showed just who was boss in Rio de Janeiro at the Pan Am Games.  Lin Ju is the current top seed and kept his place as just that in the Men's Table Tennis Singles. Tactically the rallies were short and Lin Ju won in seven games, it was of course ANOTHER gold for the Dominican Republic and unbridled joy!

In the world of table tennis, Lin Ju is known for his left handed attacking skills and he started early on in the play and moved swiftly to a 5-3 lead. Both of the players possess strong forehand topspins and both were looking to execute that particular stroke at the earliest opportunity.  Lin Ju and Lui Song leveled matters at 7-all, before the Dominican hero brought it home with an 8-7 lead, then a 10-7 lead before finally winning the game 11-9.
