aerodomSanto Domingo -  The U.S. Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) has recently confirmed that they are happy that all airports in the DR meet their security requisites and control of banned articles to passengers by 100%.

The Dominican Airport Security Corps (CESA) was also praised by the TSA commission formed by George Cruz, Brian Abbot and Pedro Rótela.

The commission inspected the installations of the airports managed by Aerodom, said the controls established by that company and the airport agencies meet the expectations of the U.S. authorities. They were happy with the way in which ID cards were issued and controlled and the way consumables were distributed in the duty free areas.

A memo sent to Aerodom director Andrew O'Brian confirms that the TSA its satisfied with all controls established in Las Americas and other airports which they inspected. This periodic inspection by the U.S. authorities is meant to evaluate the security controls and conditions of the equipment to check passengers and luggage.
