The president of the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) said yesterday he believed that not one drug laden airplane has entered Dominican territory in the last three months.
“We can say without fear of error that the plans have been eradicated," Rolando Rosado said.
This statement comes just four months after the first two of eight Super Tucano intercept planes entered anti-drug operations, and is credited with the fall in drug airdrops which occurred mostly along the North Caribbean coast.
