Delta Vacations Report Sharp Rise in Business to the Dominican Republic and Plan Expansion

delta-airlinesDelta Vacations report strong year on year growth in the number of passengers traveling to the Dominican Republic over the past 12 months which have been attributed to more competitive pricing, availability and general competitive product enhancements such as wedding and honeymoon packages. Delta Vacations has increased it's product to the Caribbean by 32% over the past year with the Dominican Republic leading the field. Year on year passenger increases are reported as being 12 times higher in comparison to the same period in 2009 with room nights sold reportedly 15 times higher throughout the same period. Delta Vacations have also noticed a dramatic rise in business amongst passengers on Delta Airlines flights where on certain legs the passenger uptake is as high as 60% which is extremely encouraging for the brand.
