The Cuban airline Aerocaribbean will inaugurate a flight between Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and also Port au Prince the capital of Haiti, commencing in July 2008.  Cuban based Aerocaribbean also said that flight frequency from Punta Cana and Cuba’s main tourist beach city, Varadero will be increased to two times a week from July 8 2008.  They are also hoping for a third weekly flight from Santiago de Cuba to Port au Prince scheduled to operate between June 24 and October 21 2008.  Aerocaribbean also has regular flights that fly from Cuba to Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic and also Haiti.
