The Colonial Zone in the Dominican Republic is safe, clean and super family friendly and a fantastic place to wander around.The beauty of the ancient buildings can once again be seen as workers have removed trash and garbage pile ups, local street vendors have been removed by the Tourism Police and the whole zone has become a tourist friendly hot spot. The entire zone has become improved and hassle free.
