Butterfly Effect Cabarete back in August
Note for the Diary! August 7th, 2010 - Cabarete is honored once more to host "The Butterfly Effect" event for the second year. The Butterfly Effect (International Water Women Movement) is a non-competetive ocean sport event designed soley for women of all skill levels. This event was founded by 2 ladies in 2007 (Tatania Howard and Juliana Shelef) and their aim is to, besides working with local communities, to help and teach women of all ages and install self confidence in ocean based sporting events. Such events range from windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaks to name but a few.
The entire event helps promote ocean sports and women and includes a fund raiser for the Dream Project.
Registration is underway and will continue until April 19th. So if you are planning your vacation around that time in August, you will be guaranteed an excellent show. For more info check out http://betheeffect.com/home/
