2008 Gold Medal Olympic Champion Felix Diaz produced another master class in boxing at the Coliseo Pepe Mayen in San Pedro de Macoris as he defeated  Edinson Garcia with a TKO after the Columbian injured his leg and was unable to continue after 5 rounds that were dominated by the undefeated champion. This takes Felix's record to 8 wins, 0 Losses with 5 KO's!

Felix did mention at the end of the fight he wanted to move up to 10 round contests from now on.

Also worth a mention is Dominican prospect Jenifel Vicente, also undefeated in some 21 contests who KO'd Colombian Jonathan Perez inside two rounds.
