The winners of Big Break Dominican Republic are the Women's Team! In the final episode, played at Casa de Campo's "Teeth of the Dog" course, a competition of single hole elimination (sudden death) left us with Christina Lecuyer and Blake Moore on the final green together where Christina made her tricky putt for victory.
The prize money of $100,000 will be shared amongst the women with Blair O'Neal receiving $50,000 for being the MVP in the Women's Team, Lori Atsedes $20,000, Sara Brown and Christina Lecuyer $10,000 each and finally Elena Robles and Brenda McLarnon $5,000 each.
More importantly, Blair also will have the opportunity to compete in her first LPGA Tour event, the 2011 Kia Classic on the LPGA Tour in March. Addition prizes for Blair also include sponsorship from Adams Golf, which includes $10,000 cash; a $10,000 shopping spree from Dick's Sporting Goods, and an all-expenses paid return trip for two to Casa de Campo Resort -- host site for the series.
Anthony Rodriguez who throughout the series was MVP for the men's team was also given a surprise - He will tee-off on the PGA TOUR at the 2011 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open courtesy of The Big Break!
