Baseball - Dominican Republic Thrash U.S.A in Pan Am Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico

dom rep baseThe national baseball team thrashed the United States 7-2 in the semi-final of the Pan Am Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico.

In an earlier round the United States team beat the Dominican Republic 8-3 but this time Ricardo Nanita, Tony Batista and Willis Otanes all stood up to the plate and scored home runs.

Next up for the Dominican Republic will be Cuba in Wednesday's Championship game.
