Transat AT Inc.,. are a Canadian based tour and airline operator, and are looking to spend in the region of US$55 million in a joint venture with the Barcelona chain H10 Hotels, to operate 5 hotels within the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Transat would secure a number of quality hotel rooms in key destinations, increasing its control over the vacation product it can sell and improving the companys profitability. President of the company Transat, Jean Marc Eustache is expecting to open two of the five hotels in December, including the H10 Blue Ocean and H10 Ocean Sand in the Dominican Republic.
