Asonahores 24th trade exhibit starts next week
Santo Domingo - With almost 160 stands prepared by more than 100 local and international companies, the 24th Asonahores Trade Exhibit 2010 gets underway in the Dominican Capital next week. From August 25-28, businesses will be show off the services they and products they offer to the world at the Dominican Fiesta hotel in the capital. The event is sponsored by hotels within Asonahores and Marketing director Thelma Martinez from Asonahores reports that this event is always generated great interest from buyers from all over the world.
This year’s event will be featuring workshops, courses and conferences on hotel and tourism and gastronomic and local cultural activities.
The 3 day fair will be inaugurated on Wednesday evening 25th August and visiting times will be 0900-2100 for exhibitors and buyers and from 1700hrs on Thursday 26th for the general public.
Martinez also reported that the fair is nearly all aimed at hoteliers but said that purchasers from both the DR and overseas have been in contact with the organisers wanting to do business by offering everything from gardening equipment to bedroom furniture.
