Dominican tourism's most important marketing event, the "Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE)", is set to be held from April 12 to 14 at the Barceló Bavaro Convention Centre in Punta Cana.

The announcement was made by the National Hotels and Restaurants Association (ASONAHORES), the Tourism Promotion Council (CPT) and the Association of Hotels of the East and attended by government officials, tourism sector leaders and personalities. It is the eighth year running for the event.
