Of course we know that this is a planetary event, but here on a clear night, taking in a full moon is one of the coolest things to do in the Dominican Republic and we take our full moons seriously. Tomorrow February 7th is the second full moon of the calendar year and if the weather holds up as it does this evening we should be in for a spectacular treat. You shoould be able to see the moonrise early just before the sunset, and those of you staying here on vacation we strongly recommend that you make plans to visit one of the beach bars on the north coast in a place like Cabarete, or perhaps along the malecon in Puerto Plata. For those of you staying in Samana, Punta Cana, Bavaro or Cap Cana be sure to head down to the beach for an early evening cocktail or two. Great time to contemplate life not to mention the romantic implications....;-)
