1st Punta Cana Bajo Par Tournament Aug 14
PUNTA CANA - Saturday August 14th will see the first golf tournament "PUNTA CANA UNDER PAR." The event will take place in the majestic countryside surroundings of the Iberostar hotels in Bavaro and will feature a selection of the best Mexican and Dominican players.This tournament is being run by Infogolf and the Golf Channel in publicizing and promoting the Dominican Golf in Latin America.
There will be special prizes such as the best approach to the 16th hole flag and the first Hole in one.
The organizing committee is run by Frnanklin Martin - Technical Director of the tournament, Arturo Fuentes - Director of promotion for Infogolf and Golf Channel Latin America and Laura Tejada - Director of Logistics. This event has the endorsement of Fedogolf and will be broadcast on the Latin American Golf Channel, TVC Deportes sports Mexico.
This tournament was originally to be held on July 31 this year, but for logistical reasons the date was postponed to August 14.
