alex-rodriguezNew York - Dominican baseball player, Alex Rodriguez has finally joined the "600 Home Run Club." Rodriguez, playing with the New York Yankees hit his 600th home run in the 1st inning against the Toronto Blue Jays in a game which saw the Yankees beat the Canadian team 5-1.

He pulled of his 600th home run just one week after his 35th birthday and 196 days younger than Babe Ruth who hit his 600th home run in 1931!

Hitting the milestone home run over the centerfield wall, Rodriguez joins the elite team of the Home Run Club, which includes Barry Bonds (762 home runs), Hank Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714), Willie Mays (660), Ken Griffey Jr. (630) and Dominican Sammy Sosa (609).
