A short walk away from the hotels in a westerly wiggle will bring you out to a little beach market with local vendors selling handicrafts and wares. You’re a little bit stuck out in the “woods” here, as apart from the hotels there is nothing much else to see and do so you should take full advantage of any excursion programmes offered to you (see The Real DR list of Excursions/Trips for ideas on planning your vacation).  The 3 hotels usually offer a ‘free’ shuttle to the American Casino at Jack Tar hotel in Playa Dorado, once a week and the nearest town to you is Puerto Plata.
