New China Town in Dominican Capital |

The new Chinese District in Santo Domingo the capital of our fair nation will be concluded and all work finished by August 2008, according to the Public Works Ministry who made an announcement through the Foundation Flor para Todos (Flower for All). The Foundation President Rosa NG said that the work in total will cost RD$100 million pesos. China Town or El Barrio Chino is located in downtown Santo Domingo, on Duarte Street between 27 de Febrero and Mella Avenues and will be around the size of 8 blocks.
