RELAX AND GET A TAN

Get yourselves down to Encuentro Beach near Cabarete.  Hundreds of people over the last few months have been volunteering their free time, to tidy up, re construct areas, make a little café hang out place, to ensure Encuentro Surfers Paradise remains with us for a long time to come.  The Encuentro team are also looking to put up a skate boarding ramp, build some BBQ’s and make an eco-friendly play area for children, encouraging the non surfie crowd to integrate and have fun with the surfie doods doing their thing. 

HUNT FOR A BARGAIN

Sunday Market Flea Market is on again Sunday at Playa Lunatic in Cabarete  opposite Ocean Dreams.  From 8.00am till early afternoon, go down for a rummage or browse, take a few pesos as refreshments are available and you never know what little bargains you just might find!! 

IT’S THAT FRIDAY FEELING

Friday night is Karaoke Night at the Jolly Roger Pub in Sosua, located on the main road Pedro Clisante, always great cold beer, huge song selection and friendly faces. 

DIAL A CURRY – IS THIS TRUE ?

Spankys is a new little eatery in Sosua, run by English and Canadians, you can find it down by Casa Marina Beach Hotel (down on the side road just past West Indies real estate office).  Ian, has promised a curry on Friday night, chicken madras, naan bread and the full works.  Ian is a curry specialist all the way from the curry capital of the world…..Surrey in the UK.  Anyhow he makes a mean madras and if you are having curry hunger pangs then get yourself down on Friday night while it lasts.  They will be setting up a delivery service full time so watch this space for further details…. 

Best Lunch Special of The Week Café Cito Friday

Café Cito, located just outside Playa Dorada offers a great menu everyday, but on a Friday their lunchtime special is just the best on the north coast.  Grilled fillet of Sea Bass, fresh garden veggies and home fries is totally delicious, including a soda or pop and at the reasonable price of RD$160 per head, you just can’t beat it…..So don’t be selFISH go and give it a try!!
