The publisher of popular men's magazine "Maxim", Dennis Publishing, has partnered with resort, hospitality and real estate company Elliott to create Maxim Bungalows in Cofresi Beach.

The 108 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom bungalows will be located on the side of the mountain and equipped with amenities such as plasma screen TV's, Wi-Fi and home audio systems. The project includes a 17,000 square foot spa, a lounge, cabanas and pools. Many other services expected of a luxury resort will also be provided, such as the opportunity to charter the 44 foot yacht Independence.

The Cofresi resort is expected to open in October of 2007, with a second, more ambitious Maxim Bungalows planned in Juan Dolio by early 2008.
