Another Round of Fuel Price Increases |

Did you fill your tank yesterday? If not, you may be wishing you had. After only a minor reduction in prices last week fuel prices jumped again this week. Premium gasoline is up RD$2.50 to RD$154.40 per gallon and regular gasoline now sells for RD$140.90, an increase of RD$2.10. Diesel was raised by RD$2.30 to RD$106.90. Even propane gas saw a significant increase of RD$1.60. Subsidized propane now sells for RD$48.76 and non-subsidized is now RD$70.52. Fluctuating world prices of crude oil are blamed for fuel price increases for 12 out of the last 14 weeks.
