Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada reached a milestone 1100 consecutive games yesterday when he walked out on the diamond. The 'Iron Man' has let nothing, including injuries stand in his way of threatening this record. He is now ranked 7th on the list of players with most consecutive games played in baseball's history. It is possible by the end of May he could advance a couple of positions on that list. Tejada has played every game since June 2000. |
