D.R. to Star In The Role of Cuba Again |

Having previously played many roles portraying Cuba and well-known for it's starring roles in the film Miami Vice shot in Santo Domingo and the 1990 Robert Redford movie "Havana" , the Dominican Republic is set again to take on the role of its island neighbour. This time the country will play Cuba for the television series "Havana Nights" being shot at various locations over the next eight months. Canadian actor Dean Hamilton met with Culture Minister Jose Rafael Lantigua to finalize the details of an agreement that was signed between the Canadian and Dominican Ministries of Culture. Production of the series is scheduled to begin in Fall 2007.
