At least seventeen major infrastructure projects will be presented by the Dominican government as well as the private sector at the V International Infrastructure Forum in a bid to attract tenders to develop them. Dozens of Latin American investors will select 50 of the most important development projects for Latin American plus 10 initiatives for the Dominican Republic.  Included in the country's wish list are Viadom 2007, the Santo Domingo metro and various housing, road construction, hydroelectric energy and coal mining projects. Potable water and technology development are also on the table. The director of the Export and Investment Center expects the Dominican presentations to be well received.
