Across the Board Increases on Fuel |

Prices at the pump have increased for the sixth consecutive week. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce blames the current increases on fluctuating world and U.S. market oil prices. Effective Saturday March 10, premium gasoline increases by RD$2.10 to RD$142.90 per gallon, regular increases by RD$2.40 to RD$133.00 per gallon and diesel goes up by RD$0.70 to RD$103.00 per gallon. Both subsidized and unsubsidized propane will rise by RD$0.92 per gallon. Subsidized propane for domestic and vehicle use is now RD$44.99 and unsubsidized propane for commercial use rises to RD$66.75.
