Dominican Republic Golf E-mail

Golfing in the Dominican Republic offers a superb range of courses all over the country. No other country in the world features the caliber of internationally recognized golf course designers.

With a designers legacy now firmly under the Dominican Republics belt we can look back on how it all started with two Dye courses La Cana at Punta Cana Resort and Club by PB Dye and then on the east coast the world famous Teeth of the Dog Course at Casa de Campo by Pete Dye in La Romana. And after having received a massive make over in 2005 the dog doesn’t just bark now it is biting!

With the new Jack Nicklaus course in Punta Espada, Cap Cana recently opened (2 more under construction Las Iguanas being first) the choice is yours.

Many more courses are now planned in Punta Cana featuring big names such as Nick Faldo at Roco Ki Beach and Golf Resort Punta Cana and also Tom Fazio at Corales Golf Resort, Punta Cana.

We cannot forget the superb course by Robert Trent Jones on the north coast however at Playa Grande which is constantly referred to as The Pebbles of the Caribbean. Another favourite course of many golfers is the Gary Player course at Guavaberry situated in Juan Dolio and his Signature Hole Number 13, whilst it is a par 3 it is visually spectacular due to a stunning waterfall and two separate greens that are rotated daily giving golfers a different perspective time and time again.

Whether you are coming to visit as a holiday maker, there are many courses practically within every resort from north to south of this beautiful island.
The Dominican Republic has the largest number of courses in the Caribbean and is now attracting dedicated golfers on a regular basis.

Combined with the stunning natural attributes this country has to offer and a wonderful climate all year round golfers can play when ever their calendar allows.
,br>Many courses are offering first class service along with luxury real estate opportunities right on hand, all set against a back drop of the Caribbean Sea.
