A very happy Easter to everybody here in the Dominican Republic, and to those of you also in far flung shores who are reading the website! After our record breaking high wave surge, the sun is pounding down and looks like the bank holiday weekend will be hot and full of Easter activities! Most of the island's hotels are fully booked and every body is looking forward to a few well earned days off work!! Remember if you are here on vacation that banks will only keep "holiday hours", supermarkets will be shut Good Friday, and it will be pretty impossible to find any kind of transport to take you anywhere on Friday too!! Things will be quiet Friday as no music is allowed until 12.00 midnight, so chill out, relax and maybe have a private Easter Egg Hunt in your rooms!!
