Last week the north coast of the Dominican Republic was host to a talented group of people, headed by world famous photographer, Shannon Greer.  Mr Greer was in the DR for a weeks photo shoot on behalf of a well known magazine (we can publish details when the magazine hits the stand).  Luckily one of "therealdr.com" reporters got to spend time with accomplished Greer and was fortunate enough to watch the man himself in action.  A tall and friendly quietly humorous Greer made his working day appear relaxed and fun as he took stunning fashion shots in varied locations along the north's coast line. 

Having previous professional experience in  many tropical locations Mr Greer appeared used to the soaring heat and temperatures a far cry from his native New York.  During the weeks photo shoot all sunlight hours are of a premium and the day starts early at dawn with very little time for breaks as the whole team works closely together with Greer at the helm.

The incredible natural beauty of the Dominican Republic is becoming a firm favourite for magazine shoots, with tropical lush plantations, busy Caribbean street scenes, gushing waterfalls, virgin beaches to the dancing colours of action land surfing Mecca Cabarete, arid desert and cactus the variety to the mind and creative palate is seemingly endless and all achievable within a twenty minute radios of Puerto Plata International Airport.
