Dear Jade,
Great you are coming here to the Dominican Republic and esp.,. Casa Marian Bay which is a great family resort.
The hotel is on the coast of Playa Las Galeras and is about 25 mins away from the main town of Samana (where you embark the boats to go whale watching from).
The hotel has a lot of facilities for children including a children's play area,Kiko's Kids Club, there are also daily activities like biycles, tabel tennis, volleyball at the beach, shuffleboard and alot of water stuff too like, snorkelling, kayaking, pedal boats and these are part of your all-inclusive package.
All rooms have airconditioning, minibars and cable tv too.
Other things to do in the area are horseriding, there are boats trips you can take to surrounding areas like the Open Air Natural Sea Aquarium, diving, fishing and snorkelling trips too.

Wondering what this hotel is like if anyone has been to stay there, we have heard mixed reviews but booked it anyway as it sounds gorgeous! We know about the humped back whales in Samana but also wondered what else is there to do near abouts, we are quite an adventurous family (used to white water rafting) and we will travel for something really worth doing..........OK, thanks for reading this and see if you can help????
