Contribution to Charities - 2006/12/10 22:01 I would first like to thank you for producing a wonderful website that appeals to all age groups and is a productive and clean website.
I am not quite so sure if this is the correct area in the forum to ask but you have nothing on your website about charities in the Dominican Republic and I know that there are alot charties over there, also people working daily to help others and so forth.
Is this something that you will be writing about in the future or featuring? I would be very interested to know and also feel that as your website grows this would be an ideal forum for people to be aware of the poverty/suffering side of the Dominican Republic and maybe if they feel like helping they could do so from overseas by donating/contributing to registered charities in your country.
I appreciate it is a beautiful place to spend your vacation time, but for those of you that live over there and even for those of you that have been on vacation and have been touched or moved by some beautiful special people/children that could do with a little extra help your website is the perfect forum to do some real good work, after all you are called The Real DR and you could change alot of peoples lives through your innovative website.

Absolutely wonderful idea! We'll get onto it straight away. Just to let you know, charities was one of our upcoming projects for our research team but we've put it straight to the top of the list.
As well as infromation about local charities we're going to design an online Donation Centre, so our visitors can donate a few dollars securely online. We will then list all donations received on the site and pass all of the money over.
We're really pleased you like www.therealdr.com, as you can imagine, its a new venture and takes alot of hard work and dedicated people, but we're slowly but surely getting to where we'd like to be.
Please let us know if you have any more ideas to enhance the site and the lives of our fellow countrymen in the DR.
