Miches, Playa Limon - caribbean splendor of nature - 2007/07/08 17:21
On the end of the Dominican east coast, 80 km from Punta Cana you can find one of the most amazing spots of the Caribbean. On a distance of 20 minutes you have there mountains, rivers with waterfalls, lakes and miles of virgin and sandy beaches, boarded by coco palms with the turquoise colour of the Atlantic. Near the small village El Cedro, right hand the lake of Laguna Limon, in front of the beach of Playa Limon you will find the small and comfortable hotel La Cueva. From there you can explore the waterfalls from the river Cedro, by safari truck go up to the peak of the mountain Redonda, by boat cross the Laguna Limon or by horse riding on the beach of Playa Limon. The restaurant there is specialized for fish and seafood and there are some comfortable rooms available.
