Alright everybody - sorry this has taken a long time.
OK, spoke with the lawyer and for them to make a will, get it stamped officially to make it water tight and legal over here it is going to cost around 10,000 - 15,000 pesos Dominican.
I can also tell you that you have to have a Dominican Will if you live here and own any business/property/ or anything that you want to leave to your wife or kids etc.,.
If a gringo/foreigner passes away over here their body automatically has to have an autopsy. This will involve governemnt officials to make sure no foul play has taken place.
SO you have to have all the correct paperwork in place for no complications to arise.
If you are an ex-pat living here, make sure you do this what ever your age as through experience of living in the Dominican Republic we have seen alot of friends of different nationalities go through hell at what is a very difficult time anyway.
