Our Pure Caribbean and Saona Island Experience is a paradise pleasure trip that is guaranteed to blow your mind. Heading out from the bay of Bayahibe you will make your way to the beautiful and unspoilt natural reserve called Saona Island. Your journey there will either be by speedboat returning by catamaran, or by catamaran returning by speedboat. Both modes of transport are equally exhilerating, but for very different reasons, one way giving you a taste of the care free life that the Caribbean is truly renown for, the other a James bond style adrenalin fuelled adventre at high speed across the Caribbean Sea. Saona Island itself is a true natural wonder of the world with huge expanses of white powder sand bathed by crystal clear turquoise waters. You'll have ample time to laze around in the shade on a hammock, chill on a sunbed and top up your tan, or alternatively swim in the clear Caribbean waters and take in the boundless natural beauty that Saona Island has been blessed with. A buffet lunch and free flowing drinks are included all day long. Your return journey takes you to an area in the Caribbean Sea known as "la piscina natural" or "the natural swimming pool" where starfish adorn the ocean floor and where you can also enjoy a cold refreshing drink in one of the most unique locations The Dominican Republic has to offer. Excursion Tips

• Take and use plenty of sun-tan lotion, especially when on the boats and beach
• Drink plenty of water to help keep you hydrated
• Take a hat if you usually get sunburnt on your head, you can barter and get a good price for a sunhat from the vendors in the Bay of Bayahibe.
• Take, towels, swimwear and a spare T-shirt to change into
• Take your camera as there will be plenty of great photo opportunities throughout the day
• Take some money as you might want to buy extra drinks, snacks or souvenirs such as Dominican cigars or rum.
• Take a SMILE, your going to have a fantastic day

Excursion Days: The Pure Caribbean and Saona Island Experience goes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from all Bavaro, Punta Cana, Cap Cana and Uvero Alto resorts (these are the English language tour days). Please select the day you would prefer to go from the list above.
For guests staying in Uvero Alto: There is a $10 per person transportation charge payable to your guide on collection from your hotel. This is due to the additional travelling time required and this is not included in the sales price indicated for this excursion.
