Imagine flying like a bird across the lush green mountain side with a birds-eye view of the tropical paradise below you. Your naturalist canopy guides will show you the way, ensure your safety, and help you make the most of the adventure by unlocking the ancient secrets of the Taino Mountains. This is a purely exhilarating excursion! After a short drive from Bavaro and Punta Cana, you will be entering a whole new dimension of ecological beauty. Our expert Canopy Adventure Guides will teach you all you need to know about how to fly from platform to platform and all about the equipment you'll be using.
Your tour begins at the Zip Line Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted by professional instructors. Once you are comfortable and confident with your equipment and are raring to go, your instructors will walk you to the first platform where you will clip on in preparation for the exhilerating thrill of “flying” from one canopy platform to the other. You will be safely attached with climbing gear to the cables with the longest one being 800 meters which is the longest zip line in the Caribbean! Your tour consists of 16 platforms and 12 lines which stretch across the length and breadth of this part of The Oriental Mountain Range for almost 2 miles. This Zip Line facility was built by the most trusted and experienced of Costa Rica's canopy tour experts, and uses a traversing system on a steel pulley with a manual breaking system only when needed. Most cables are calibrated for speed in order to truly experience the feeling of flying, so just let yourself go and zip from platform to platform and experience the gorgeous views of the lush tropical forest and mountain range beneath.
At the end of the tour we guarantee that you will have a huge smile on your face, and as is customary on these type of excursions, fresh fruits will be served as you share and recount with your fellow zip liners the major thrill you have all just experienced. Remember to take some spare cash with you just in case you want to buy a special souvenir of this unique green adrenaline adventure.

Excursion Tips for your Zip Line Canopy Adventure:
- Take and use plenty of sun-tan lotion, it's hot out there
- Remember to keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water
- Take a baseball hat to wear under your helmet
- Take and use insect repellent
- Take your camera as there are plenty of photo opportunities
- Please wear comfortable clothes- shorts and t-shirts are advisable, however any comfortable clothing is suitable
- Please wear comfortable footwear - sneakers are advisable
- We do not advise that visitors with a severe phobia of heights should book this excursion
- Weight restrictions: Minimum weight allowed is 50lbs. Maximum weight allowed is: 250lbs (Equipment maximum size is 48" waist and 26" thighs)

Please select the day and date you prefer to go from the list below, as well as your AM or PM preference. Please note that this choice is not guaranteed (but we will do everything we can to give you your preferred day!) and is subject to change.
Excursion Times: The East Coast Zip Line Canopy Half Day Tour is available as a morning tour (AM - approximate collection time from your hotel is around 7:45am) and as an afternoon tour (PM - approximate collection time from your hotel is around 2:00pm). LOVE this tour! I was initially a little nervous as its something my boyfriend wanted to do, but Carlos and Rob made us feel so confident that we just
relaxed and had an amazing time. That feeling on flying over the treetops or through the jungle is so true. Great tour (we went in the morning, when

We have just returned from a weeks break in Punta Cana and the whole family was excited to take this trip. We loved it! Great guides, extra care given
to our children to make sure they were confident and happy with equipment (no need to worry there as they couldn't wait to zip off!), I was nervous
but after the first "zip" I was hooked! Beautiful environment, a good bonding day for our family with lots to talk about over dinner in the
evening. We would as a family recommend zip lining, our children are teenagers and this was a challenging and fun thing to do as our family group. The
people at the zip lining center are brilliant and welcoming. They know what they are doing and make a wonderful fun atmosphere. Thank you also to
realdr. website for making our booking easy and will use you guys next year when we return to Punta Cana.
